General Registration Questions

Yes, Due to high cost and already subsidized registration; all volunteers must register and pay registration fees for the convention.
Convention fee is already highly subsidized, hence no special discount categories offered.
Yes, all attendees regardless of age must be registered. There is no charge for ages 5 and under. All attendees ages 6 and above must pay the registration fees.
Registration offered is only for full convention at this time.
Yes, the Convention is open to everyone who wants to further their knowledge of Jainism.

Registration pricing increases on a tiered basis. Register early to take advantage of the lower pricing as well as the ability to reserve your preferred hotel rooms. Given that Chicago is a popular location, JAINA may restrict the number of registrants to a manageable number. Please refer to the Registration Fee structure on the Registration Information page
Registration is available only online or on-site based on availability. Please email to registration@jainaconvention.org with full details to support you.
Cancellations can be made through your registration portal. Please review the cancellation policy on the Registration Information page.
On the registration form, there is a line where you can enter the amount you want to Donate/Pledge. Alternatively, please email us at sponsorship@jainaoffice.org and we can give you additional details on how you can contribute. For any donation amount greater than $1000 please contact sponsorship@jainaoffice.org.

The convention center will open at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 3rd and end at 1:00 PM on Sunday, July 6th.
Attendees are free to come and go from the convention center during the operating hours.
As Children under 13 years alone can not travel nor attend convention themselves, they need to be accompanied with an Adult on the family registration. Once adult registers, options will be available for Younger children under 13 years of age as ‘Add Family Member’ option.
Transportation
Schaumburg Convention Center is just 13 miles from Chicago O’Hare International Airport. JAINA will not provide transportation to and from airport.
We are working on sight seeing packages which would be extra cost depending on the type of packages you choose. We are working on various packages with s travel agency . We will let everyone know once those packagest are ready.
Yes, parking is free.
Yes from all the JAINA recommended hotels, JAINA will provide bus transportation
Food
Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner is included in the Registration fees.
Yes, only Jain food will be served. There is an option for Jain Vegan food too.
We will have vegan meals available for those who have requested vegan meals at the time of registration. If you have other dietary requests, please email food@jainaoffice.org.
Breakfast is from 7:30 AM to 9 AM, Lunch is from 12 to 1:30 PM and Dinner is from 6.00 PM to 7.30 PM.
Snacks will also be served from 3:30 to 4:15 PM and 10:30 PM to 11:300 PM.
All meals are for registrants only.

Facilities & Hotel
Hotel information is available under the “About → Hotel Details” page on the website.
Hotel will need to be booked and paid for separately. Registration fee covers Convention center activities and Hotel transport.
Programming
Some programs are applicable for all age groups. Some programs are catered to certain age groups. Please check the “Program Overview” once JAINA convention team will launch the same
